How to modify the name of an offline map ?

Good evening,
I created offline maps, for one of them I got the name wrong.
How do we modify it?
Not finding, I reloaded the card but it is not the best solution

Hello Alamyr,

1. use a file browser to navigate to your Oruxmaps mapfiles folder.
2. There you will find a folder with the (wrong) name of your map. You can rename this folder if you want but it doesn't have an effect on the name of the map in Oruxmaps.
3. Inside this folder is a file with the (wrong) name of your map and the ending '.trk2.xml'. The same as above: you can rename it - no effect in Oruxmaps.
4. Open this file in a text editor and replace the wrong name with the correct name in the line: '<MapName><![CDATA[WrongMapName]]</MapName>' and save the file.
5. Refresh the map list in Oruxmaps.
