where is the final destination ?

Hi,
i am using latest version from playstore 8.5.5 and i am rookie user. The only experiance i have is to "follow" the recordings tracks like gpx or kml import files. Also i know to make my personal recordings track files. I have install offline maps from openandromaps site. I haven't install any plugin like "brouter"

now, i need to navigate like
1. follow the track or
2. free walking
and i am looking to found if there is somehow the option from the  application to see on the screen (in very low zoom), where is the direction of my destination. Maybe this can be like a arrow on the screen or like "a compass" to rotate with us and shows the direction of the destination.

Can anyone knows if this is possible. And if yes, how to select this ?

as an example, i will show the old version of sygic. We can see a yellow icon, this is where is the final destinaiton

Hello,
For me Oruxmaps is not able to do this kind of navigation.
You can have audio route alarm. I don't use this function, I don't know the way it works.

Muy sencillo,puedes usar la opción directo a:
1° haz pulsación prolongada sobre el punto de destino.
2° en el menu emergente selecciona lo opción directo a.
3° ° navegar en línea recta

En el visor de mapas aparecerá una línea recta entre tú cursor y ti objetivo que podrás ver a cualquier nivel de zoom.
Y en el cuadro de mandos por ejemplo puedes ver distancia .

Es una línea recta que se hará visible,en la dirección en la que avanzamos,es una línea sin fin,como si apuntamos con un láser en la dirección que avanzamos,puede serte útil,si tienes un Waypoints destino y pretendes llegar a el si tener una ruta establecida.
Track Made Good es su nombre.
Puedes configurarlo en :
Configuración global/elementos visuales/ tracks activar o desactivar.

Es muy utilizada en la navegación marítima y aérea.

Para llegar a tu destino sin una ruta establecida también puede ser muy útil la computadora de abordo concretamente la pantalla de brújula.
Esta pantalla ofrece una brújula que, en su interior tiene un velocímetro a la derecha🔵 y a la izquierda un velocímetro vertical🟢 (⚠️sólo funciona si está activo el barómetro)

En la parte inferior incluye cuadros informativos que pueden modificarse haciendo una pulsación prolongada sobre ellos.
Además, si estamos siguiendo un Waypoint, nos muestra una flecha indicándonos la dirección de destino, y arriba a la izquierda muestra el icono del tipo de wpt. objetivo.

En  :
configuración global/elementos visuales/ cuadro de mandos/ elementos cuadro de mandos.

Aquí puedes configurar toda la información que quieres ver en el cuadro de mandos, tiempos distancia velocidad periféricos etc.
Algunos datos solo se ofrecen gravando ruta,es necesario para que orux pueda hacer los cálculos.

Si te animas a planificar tus rutas para seguir un track te recomiendo Brouter.
