Hi,

Impossible to put an Orux offline map on microSD on my android phone, it only works when put on phone internal storage.

Any idea ?

Device on android 7.0 and OruxMaps 7.0.10.

If I put maps into internal storage

/my files/internal storage/oruxmaps/mapfiles

off line maps are displayed : curiously, map folder in Oruxmaps settings is

/storage/emulated/0/oruxmaps/mapfiles

But if I put maps into microSD

/my files/SD card/Android/data/com.orux.oruxmaps/files

off line maps are not displayed anymore even when changing the path in Oruxmaps settings

/sdcard/Android/data/com.com.oruxmaps/files

What I did wrong ?

Hello;

if you change the maps folder in settings--maps--map directory, be sure to select the correct path where you copied the maps.

It is working fine in android 7.0 devices.

If you don't see your maps in the map list, refresh the list (upper buttons bar, map selector view).

Thanks for your answer.

In fact the right path in Oruxmaps global settings was :

/storage/2065-B825/Android/data/com.com.oruxmaps/

Strange path, 2065-B825 should be microSD ID number ?

Yes, it is the sd card.

There are a lot of symbolic links that points to the same real folder.
