Modify route; detour route

Hello Oruxmaps forum

I have the following questions.

1) I load an existing bike route in to my Oruxmap App, GPX format. The route is quite long and I would like to split the route into various sections. I could not find the tools to do that.

2) On a existing route I would like to plane a detour. How can I make this?

Hello!! To deviate a route the easiest thing to do is to use the track editor
You can create segments, marking the points where you want to split the path.
Then you can export each segment separately.
To create a step-by-step path, for example.

For the second part of your query, you can also use the editor depending on the complexity of the detour you want to make, and how much of the route you want to keep

I was on tour and I am reading your post and watching your video only today. Unfortunately I could not follow to get a final result.

Following the steps in the video:

-open track list - chose track - properties – chose ●─● (splitting button) - go back? – chose ≡ (at bottom left) - Edit track and waypoints – Route editor – chose single point – chose ●─● (splitting button) - Do you want to split the track at this point into different segments – ok – done - √ (at top rigth)

now the situation in the video and making it in my smart phone changes:
see:    screen shot nr.1 (in your video)       screen shot nr.2 (in my smart phone)

As a result the following sequences doesn´t appear in the smart phone and the spliting doesn´t work??

About the second part of my query don´t worry it is not so important.

Hello sorry for the delay, you just have to give ok in your capture.
In your version of OruxMaps you will have two tracks with the same name. One of them is the edited one with the segments created
