Legibility of Opencyclemap

Hello, I am using Oruxmaps on a Samsunge Galaxy Note 4. As a base map I have selected Openstreetmap Cyclemap Online. That map type makes it close  to impossible to read names of cities and villages as they are tiny. Zooming in will only momentarily zoom the local name, but as soon as one removes the fingers from the screen the zoom level tiles are loaded and the local name is again not legible.  Is there a setting that corrects this problem, that I may have overlooked?  I compared with the app Komoot for instance, where the font size of the local names is llarge enough for easy reading at any zoom level, but I don't like the app overall.   Also Google maps for Android seems to show legible local nemes. Advice would be appreciated.
