change dashboard, lite version

Dear forum readers.

Using Oruxmaps I have a few questions to optimize the handling.

1) After creating a new route with dashboard bicycle, fastest route I would like to change the dashboard to car, fastest route. Is this possible or do I have to create a new route with dashboard car, fastest route?
2) In the global settings a lite-version can be marked. Which are the important differences in functionality?
