How can I get rid of the list of "Direction Advises" on top of the waypoint type list?

When placing a new waypoint I want to choose a different type (alreadycreated by me). Fortunatelly they are listed on top of the preset waypoint types. But above the waypoint types there is the list of "directional advise points", a list covering the full height of the screen (see attached img). So I have to scroll down each time...

Make custom wp for "directional advise points" (using the orignal pics) too...

Sounds like a good work-around, but unfortunately doesn't work (for me 'cause I can't find how to make a custom wp for "directional advise points" (neither in the app itself nor in the manual(s))

Thanks anyway - at least for making me look harder and by this learning to implement own pictures..

manual: http://www.oruxmaps.com/oruxmapsmanual_en.pdf">http://www.oruxmaps.com/oruxmapsmanual_en.pdf

page #37:

Your own waypoints with custom icons

If you wish to create new wpts, you need to:

1. edit the file customwpts.txt that is present in the folder oruxmaps/customwpts/

2. add a new line for each type, with the type to add

3. if you wish to use a custom icon, copy a .png image into the same folder with

the same name and a .png extension (eg 'car' and 'car.png'). The recommended

size for these images can be found in the comments in the .txt file. The lines

that begin with '#' are ignored.

-open the .txt in any text editor (notepad) and add Your icon name and save it

-copy the  .png into these folder too

-close orux, and restart the handy

First You can use any png icon (http://www.freeiconspng.com">http://www.freeiconspng.com), or You can create it)

as I said: While looking again at the manual in order to try your work-around I found how to implement pictures (I've not done it yet but will in some time)

only thing missing regarding pictures is: in the commetn to which .txt I will find the picture seize. in my customwpts.txt there is no such information. Anyway this is a minor issue, at least solveable by try and error  :-)

thanks anyway for your time and efforts!
