KML and KMZ (compressed) are similar.



If you start the GPS, your position will always be in the center of the map, you don't need move the map.

Now I got another problem.



I cant edit depths and lines for the lakes right now.

That i need to do when im on the lake in my boat.



Im guessing Google earth wont work without internetconnection?

Also I wonder if its possible to connect my android mobile for sharing the GPS to my laptop.

You can add new waypoints in OM and later, in your house, you can do a KML.

Will this work for you? A note of caution though, while it is nice to look at, I have found my track to be off by some 60 to 80m to one side and recalibration is required. Such charts are not to be used for navigation as they are technically not absolutely accurate.
