Oh well, I knew it was a gamble but gave it a shot and bought this one:

http://www.decathlon.fr/cardio-bluetooth-smart-id_8288269.html">http://www.decathlon.fr/cardio-bluetoot ... 88269.html">http://www.decathlon.fr/cardio-bluetooth-smart-id_8288269.html

it turns out it works just with some BLE Apps, and OruxMaps in not among these.

I'd like to try to give my contribution to have this kid running, it's a decent quality item and the cost is reasonable, what can I do to help having it supported?

One of the most demoralizing problems I have is that OM just gives you no feedback at all. You set it all up, enable BLE HR, do pairing and so on but you get no messages of any kind; it's just the heart rate measure staying silent. Is there a way to enable some kind of logging so I can see what's happening under the hood?

Again: I'm willing to help as much as I can, I can test code or whatever (I never actually wrote code for an Android device but I can try).

Keep up the good work!

Hi, It should work, if it follows BT 4.0 heartrate interface.

Did you:?

-->selected the heart rate display controls in configuration--user interface--dashboard--user interface.

-->started the monitor in mapviewer, 'Tracks' button->'Start heartrate'

Ouch, no. I didn't realize I had to start the monitoring explicitly with 'Start heartrate'.

Thanks Orux, it works now.

When switching between views (mapviewer - TC1..5) it seems like it's renegotiating the connection and at times a "retrying in 30s" comes up, other than that it looks fine.

Yes!

That where the Information that i did not know.

Now my Mio Alpha Link is working. Super. I am happy.

Now i have to test, if the HRM is stored in the GPX File and is diplayed in "MyTourbook" Software.

I will report.

Thanks,

Thomas
