Screen no longer permanently switched on

Hello,



after changing the mobile phone model and update to the current Orusmaps version 7.4.22, the screen saver will be activated after the time set in Android.



What should I do to leave the screen permanently running when Oruxmaps is active? (while following a route, or without following a route).

The menu navigation Settings - Application - Screen always ONis not selectable.



There is screen ON (Screen does not turn off while track recording) selectable.

OruxMaps can only prevent turning off the device with track recording by selecting Menu> Global Settings> Application> Screen ON [v]

Hi Matthias,

i strongly believe you both mean the same menue item.

Helios referencing the Menue structure when running OruxMaps in english language, while you are running your OruxMaps maybe in german ("Bildschirm AN").

The same is meant.



Maybe you are looking for a setting, that keeps the screen always on, when OruxMaps has "GPS tracking on", independent from track-logging active/inactive.

But this specific option seem to be unavailable. Was also not available in an older version of OruxMaps (looked at my old phone running OM 7.2.12)
