Notification: GPS disabled ... but is not

Hi,

since the OruxMaps Version v.7.4.22 GP the App reports when activating GPS the following: "GPS disabled, please activate in Android" ... but GPS is enabled and works for other Apps (e.g. Goolge Maps). This behaviour is new with the meantioned release, bevore everything was working fine.

I use:

SONY Xperia X

Android 8.0

I found the solution for the problem!  

The latest version of OruxMaps was not the reason (sorry for the wrong assumption from my side). There was by accident only a timing correlation :-(



The background is the following (maybe also interesting for some of you):

The detailed GPS configuration has been changed on my phone accidentally (maybe in a low energy situation) to the "Energy saving" mode!

the tricky thing in that case is, that GPS data is not used anymore and for location information only "WiFi, Mobile Data, BT" data is taken.

It seems that OruxMaps is looking only to "real GPS" data and doesn't accept location data (provided by Android) based on "WiFi, Mobile data, ect.).
