Hello,

I used the mapstyles from http://www.openandromaps.org">http://www.openandromaps.org (OAM and Elevate) for some openandro maps. These work good.

But for same maps from mapsforge.org I want to use the orux standard mapstyle.

How to switch back to the orux standard mapstyle???

Please advice.

Thanks and regards,

Hello,

here the solution (or workaround) from the openandromaps team:

1) download the file osmarender.xml from here

https://mapsforge.googlecode.com/git-history/3a9a83ee21535bcd748edabcdc0c781c23d18433/mapsforge-render-theme/src/main/resources/osmarender/osmarender.xml">https://mapsforge.googlecode.com/git-hi ... render.xml">https://mapsforge.googlecode.com/git-history/3a9a83ee21535bcd748edabcdc0c781c23d18433/mapsforge-render-theme/src/main/resources/osmarender/osmarender.xml

2) Create a new folder (e.g. basic_theme) in /oruxmaps/mapstyles/

3) copy file osmarender.xml to /oruxmaps/mapstyles/basic_theme

Now you can use the orux themeswitcher to switch back to the orux standard mapstyle (orux basic theme) :-)

Hi,

sorry, but with the current version the only way is what you have done, copying the default theme to the folder.

solved in the last beta, if no theme is selected with the file picker, you go back to the default osmrender theme.

with with the awesome themes that you can download, who wants to return to the default theme :)
