Hi!

I am running OruxMaps (version 5.5.22) on my Sony Ericsson Xperia active under CyanogenMod 10. In this configuration, the map zoom seems to be broken. Both with online and offline (e.g. openandromaps) maps, only one zoomlevel is used. When I try to zoom in, the map schows only pixels so that you cannot even see single streets.

I do not have that problem with Locus using the same mapfiles, so it seems to be a bug in Oruxmaps.

Has anybody had the same problem/ found a solution?

Thanks,

Matthias

Hi, check your settings (configuration--maps--zoom settings).

I think that 5.2.22 version is working fine.

I got confused with on screen buttons set to digital zoom- this setting also affects pinch zoom and needed turning off (default is probably off).

Thank you so much! That solved it. For some reason it was set to digital zoom only, which is strange, since I did a clean install to get rid off the problem.

Thanks again, now I don't have to switch to another app!
