too many points

I would like to use oruxmaps with GPS tablets ( samsung 10.1 " android) in areal survey. 5300 sample points were assingned before the survey.   To see sampling points, I could not use  kmz overlay because of screen of the tablet almost locked , it is very slow .   I tried  to upload a gpx file as a point file, but in this case, most of the  waypoints was not  uploaded and not  showed in the screen.



What should I do?

Sorry, but the app is not ready to handle many points; you should split it into several files.

depends on the power of your device;



old devices can handle a few points, the new devices can display thousands.
