Sometimes when I pinch zoom my display is not completely redrawn, instead there will be a blank area usually at the bottom edge.  I am using a map I made with mobac.  oruxmaps 6.0.1.  android 4.4.2.  samsung galaxy tab pro 8.4.  The missing area is present in the map and can be seen by dragging to reposition the map.  However, dragging still leaves a blank area at the bottom of the screen.  the problems usually occur when the zoom is less than 100 and disappears when the zoom is greater than 100. the map is layered.  There is a screen capture here: //https://www.dropbox.com/s/xh7wf8rqdi48887/Screenshot_2014-12-13-15-02-10.png?dl=0">https://www.dropbox.com/s/xh7wf8rqdi488 ... 0.png?dl=0">https://www.dropbox.com/s/xh7wf8rqdi48887/Screenshot_2014-12-13-15-02-10.png?dl=0[/url]

Does anyone know how I can resolve this?

Thanks,

Do you have a solution to view the map on the entire screen with different zoom.

Thank you in advance.

Are you using digital zoom?

No = Ok YES

Digital Zoom and a card with a single layer: raster.

Hi,

yes, you are using the digital zoom.

OruxMaps can not paint the full screen if you are digital zoom.

If you always want to see the map using the zoom between layers, select the option:

settings--maps--zoom settings-->'finalize pinch to zoom'

Most maps have different images for different zoom levels. When a zoom level is missing OM digitally scales the closest one, but there are limits about doing this. You can also force digital zoom using the volume buttons. It's a bit long to explain properly, but I remember it is in the manual.

Digital Zoom with finger and move the map on the screen.

"Single Layer Maps; can only be zoomed in digitally. The advantage is that

digital zoom is immediate, the downside is that when you zoom in or out too

much, the details will not be visible anymore. Another drawback is that

OruxMaps has a limit of images that can be displayed simultaneously when you

zoom out. From 60% zoom it is CERTAIN that the map will not cover the entire

screen. This is NOT a bug but a limitation. In any case, at this level of digital

zoom the details are completely lost, so it only makes sense to view the shape of

a track or route at 100%."

This limititaion can it be bypassed.

I think I've got a similar problem on v7.0.4:

The map is created as OruxMaps Sqlite with MOBAC 2.0.0 beta 1 (2289), zoom levels 10-11-12-14-16.

The phone is LG-E610 and runs Android 4.0.3, zoom is set to Finalize pinch to zoom as advised here.

The problem also occurred on v6.5.10, but less frequently.

A short test with same map on v6.0.10: the problem cannot be recreated...

:D A quick test: it seems to work OK on v7.0.5; I'll use that version on the mentioned maps intensively for the next two weeks  8-)
