We started a new series of beta versions, with major changes.



Hope you like.

-corrected some bugs:

-->adding new WMS (using EPSG:4326 by default if supported)

-->uploading files to gpsies

-->unlocking the display with alarms

-solved some bugs (but not the zoom problem with bq and motorola devices)

-changed some IL online maps

-limited the option to upload tracks to oruxmaps servers. It will not be ready in this release, I need more time to find/configure a good server.

.-solved some bugs.

.-added support to onlinemaps with tile sizes 512, 768, 1024 px.

Use the tag 'projection' in the onlinemapsources.xml file with the values:

Of course, it only will work if the map server provides tiles of that size!

It should work with mbtiles, mapsforge, garmin compatible, and OruxMaps maps downloaded using OruxMaps.->Mercator projection maps.

If all the maps use 512px tiles (mapsforge and garmin) the result will be a 512px tiles maps. If there are mixed tile size maps, the result will be a 256px tiles map.

.-added a new setting to allow paint the tracks with all the points if needed. By default, the app reduces the max. number of points to draw to 4000 points. Settings--user interface--tracks.

.-added support to mapsforge renderthemes v4. If you load a mapsforge map, now you have two buttons under 'maps' button; one to change the mapsforge theme, another one to tweak current theme, if it is a v4 theme. If you select the default mapsforge theme, it should have different options to tweak.

.-started the test version with mapsforge 0.5.0 library

.-mapsforge style selection moved to 'maps' button'

.-lock/unlock online map tiles download moved to 'maps' button.

.-GPS tweaks and barometer calibration (if available) moved to 'tracks' button.

.-new maps for Spain! (NUEVOS MAPAS DEL IGN PARA ESPAÑA, MÁS RÁPIDOS, BÚSCALOS EN LA CARPETA LAYERS-ES)

.-more settings for SOS alarm:

1.-test the SOS SMS sending a test message from your device

2.-it can use orientation sensors to cancel the alarm. WARNING! in some tests, phone vibration (an incoming call,...) could cancel the alarm.

3.-you can select send a link or only the coordinates.

.-some changes in SOS alarm:

1.-if the SMS is sent successfully, then OruxMaps will stop recording, to save battery

2.-if it fails to send the SMS, it will try again, the attempts will be spaced in time.

3.-after 3 fails, OruxMaps will entry in power saving mode, and the display will be turned off.

.-added 'following route altitude graphic'. Only works in 'following route' + track logging mode. Enable this in settings--user interface--dashboard--show altitude graph. Change background color in settings--user interface--colors--graphics background.

Muchas gracias orux por el regalazo de reyes, estoy probando todo lo nuevo y me encanta. Te ire reportando cosas. Lo primero que he podido ver es que no me dejaba poner punto en la fecha de nacimiento para el alta de usuario, he tenido que usar copiar y pegar para salvar la situacion, pero puede parar a otros usuarios. Gracias de nuevo.

Gmail me ha metido el correo de confirmación de cuenta en spam, junto con un aviso de que el remitente podría ser falso

In next versions will be in your units.



About the zoom level. The app uses your last used online map. Check if your last used online map has enough zoom level to see the route at a best zoom level.

Do not worry,



You need to be registered to be able to upload your tracks.



After registered, if you go to your tracks list, and you tap one of your tracks, you should see the option 'Upload to OruxMaps Servers'

Una pasada... y eso que termino de descargarlo. Ya he subido un track... Lo unico que no consigo es introducir un avatar en la cuenta de usuario. Doy a gestionar cuenta a pulsar sobre el recuadro sale un buscador de archivo (hasta ahí todo correcto) pero cuando elijo una foto no la toma... no se si es que hago algo mal.... pero me parece genial las nuevas incorporaciones que he visto.
