Oruxmaps freezes 6.06 (since 6.0) when AutoSegement

Hallo,



when activating 'AutoSegement Distance' Oruxmaps freezes after the first segement.

It also effects other applications then.

I have a S5 Mini with Android 4.4.2.



Any idea what the issue could be?

Hi,  I think it is working fine.



Which distance do you use for the autosegment feature?



An application can not affect other applications, the operating system prevents that behaviour. It is very strange.

yes I also find it quite strange.



I now made several tries again with an Autosgement distance of 0,5, 1, 2 and 5 km.

Each time after the first segment Oruxmaps hangs-up and I have to kill it via the task manager.

Until then the recording is fine.

I had in parallel another program running which recorded the track as normal.



During the test non of the other applications was effected besides that the howl devices reacted quite slowly.



Thanks for looking into the issue. I like oruxmaps a lot.

It worked fine with my old S3 mini but now with S5 mini the issue appeared.

I have now also tested it with Auto-Segment time. The same observation: After the first segment Oruxmpas hangs up and needs to be terminated via the task manager.

Hi Orux,



thank you for the fast patch. It worked but there is a side effect.



At the end of each segment the recording of track stops for a moment (three to four points) and then continues again.

Therefore the overall track distances is then accordingly too short.

I made several test with auto segment Distance and time. The behavior is in each case similar.



In case you need some track data please let me know.
