Compacting cache

The compacting of the images DB cache renders the app unusable. There is no feedback what's going on. I think there is nothing going on because after several hours the app is still blocked.



A progress bar or alike would be nice. Or even nicer if the compacting process would run in the background or when the phone is idle.
