7.4.22 - Migrate to Ext SD - Doesn't Work?

New Galaxy S8 with latest & last Oreo 8.0.0 update.



Go to Settings / Application - Migrate to Ext SD



I get as far as "the app cannot write in selected SD" The authorize button opens some sort of file explorer which shows a file cabinet with no items. What am I supposed to do with this? Nothing about permissions here!



I also went back to phone Settings / apps /permissions on the phone and gave Oruxmaps the proper SD card permissions. Closed Orux and reopened - same problem.



How do I fix this?

The file manager that Android uses to give permissions is a bit strange, it doesn't help much. But there has to be an option to 'accept' the selected directory to which you give permission to write the app.
