Hello,

I would like to know if there is a function to search for a specific address or a location by highlighting it on the map.

Waypoint menu -> Search address -> create waypoint

Only works with internet connection.

As far as I know there is no offline search function. You would need a geocoding database for that or a map format that supports searching anyway.
