Using Android built-in step sensor

Hello
I know Oruxmaps already supports ANT+ and BT steps sensors, but Android already includes a basic step sensor:

Could it be proposed as an alternative sensor in Oruxmaps? This would avoid the need to buy/wear a separate device.

good idea.
depending on the sensitivity and position of my cyclingshort pockets with my mobile in it, i might get my pedaling frequency/cadence.
And just noticed now, that feature is already added to 7.5.9.beta24, going to test soon :-)
