Change color of empty map?

I use the empty map to display routes and tracks when I go fishing. The empty map works offline and lets me view my routes at all zoom levels. I would like to display a white track on a black background for best viewing in full sunlight (and maybe less battery use). Is there a way to change the color of the empty map? Thanks!

If you tweak the map to night mode, it should be black.
I have found that it is not working fine in last version, but it will work again in next version,
