Tras muchos cambios en las betas no me queda claro como mide las altitudes Oruxmaps.

Yo no quiero cálculos aproximados, ni redondeos ni datos del gps, tengo mis archivos de altimetrias en la carpeta DEM y quiero que use unicamente esos datos, pero no veo claro que sea así.

Alguien puede arrojar luz sobre mi duda ?

Configuración Global - Elementos Visuales - Cuadro de Mandos - Elementos Cuadro Mandos.

Ahora se de que hablas, con: 1. Enables the DEM height display in the dashboard. ni idea.
De todos modos esa opción que si tengo activa es solo para mostrar el dato pero no para registrarlo en los track ni hacer la suma que es la opción 2 que yo no veía.
Todo fue un lapsus mio porque no encontraba donde se indicaba al programa que tomase las alturas de los DEM, y temía que se hubiese cambiado algo sin enterarme :-)

Bug in Beta 24

Hello Orux,
I noticed that in Beta 24 the "progressing time" does NOT update appropriately.

I am using a Huawei NOVA 5T with Android 10 (last patches and so on).

See the screenshot attached, it shows 6 sec while are actually 34 sec elapsed.
This data looks to be updated randomly now, while in the past it was working fine (as I remember).

Bug in Beta 24

Hello Orux,
I noticed that in Beta 24 the "progressing time" does NOT update appropriately.

It depends on your GPS settings and/or automatic segment creation.

If you are not moving (or you are moving very slowly), and you have a minimum distance to save the points (GPS settings), the timer may not advance.

If you don't move and you have some value for automatic segment creation if there is no movement, it can happen too.

If you have in GPS settings minimum time and minimum distance to zero, it must be continuous.

en la beta 26 si se usa oruxmaps como fuente de datos simulados, al dejar de hacerlo dándole a parar en la notificación de la barra de estado de android, al activar el GPS no pilla nada, como si siguiese usando las posiciones simuladas. Para que volviese a funcionar he tenido que apagar/encender el teléfono.

Otra cosa, esto que mencioné hace algun tiempo sigue igual, no se si es un fallo o que funciona así.

Finally, a small weirdness in the 'Seen Area' tool, not sure it is a bug: when entering 'Observer altitude', while typing on the keyboard the field is not updated, figures only appear in the field once the keyboard is closed.

Respecto a los datos simulados; no lo puedo reproducir, dame alguna pista más. ¿simulas alguna ruta/fichero? ¿estás grabando lo que simulas? ...
Sobre las zonas vistas. Lo he cambiado en la beta que acabo de publicar; no lo puedo reproducir, pero ya son varios los casos.
La declinación, ya se debe poder meter negativa.

b) Threshold difference. Perhaps it works best in mountainous terrain, and with GPS that measure the most accurate altitude.

Hola Orux.

En otras versiones recuerdo que el pronóstico del tiempo también lo hacía sobre cualquier posición del centro del mapa, ahora solo en la posición de GPS.

En la vista de satélites de la computadora de viaje me ocurre el problema de que no me aparece los que están en uso ni coinciden los visibles ni la altitud msl con lo que pone el cuadro de mandos.
Ahora mismo me está pasando con un móvil Xiaomi con Android 10 y Miui 12.0.5 y un Blackview Android 7.0.

Edito: no recuerdo si ya se comentò.¿En la vista de satélites se podría añadir la opción de poder descargar datos A-GPS?

i found a bug and an unwanted behavior in beta 27:

- When completing an manually created route beta 27 crashes.
- I have the "seen area" button in the left button bar in beta 26. After installing beta 27 it was replaced by the button for the new measuring tool.

Hola Orux,

lo de los datos GPS simulados olvidalo. He intentando reproducirlo hoy de varias maneras sin conseguirlo. La vez que me ocurrió estaba simulando un track mio y grabándolo, hoy he hecho lo mismo, grabando y sin grabar y funciona perfectamente.

Un pequeño fallo en la nueva beta, el mensaje de información de la herramienta de medir distancias aparece siempre, aun después de haber seleccionado 'No mostrar otra vez'
