Advice request for creating an offline map for central Spain

Hello

I've used MOBAC on a my PC to create Ordnance Survey UK maps before.

Haven't used it for outside of the UK.

If I want a good offline walking map for central Spain - will be based in Avila - is MOBAC a good tool to use? And if so, what map source?

Or should I be using a different tool to create an offline map?

BTW I'm not going to go hiking up any proper mountains - don't want to take kit for all seasons.

why not simply downloading the map for Spain from OpenAndroMaps?

There are  maps of Spain to download, legally and free, from here :

They have much more geographical detail than Open Street Map.



Use a tool like MAPC2MAPC to convert to Orux format.
