Hi,

I got the problem that recording of the track stops when the screen is locked.

Does anybody know how to solve this problem ?

I am using Oruxmaps v.6.5.10 with Android 6.0.1 with a Samsung Galaxy S7.

Hi,

when I disable the energy saving options of the operating system the recording continuous flawlessly.

So I suggest Oruxmaps to circumvent energy saving features.

Looks more of setting your phone up correctly rather than an Oruxmaps issue.

Not my opinion. I expect that the application overrides the settings of the operating system to function properly.

An app that ignores OS settings is called ill-behaved

ok, so I will detail it a bit more: I'd like a warning of the app that due to the settings in the OS that there will be some limitations / disfunctions.

I think that's a bit of a problem as well. Power saving features are many times implemented on a specific vendor version of Android or via apps such as task killer. My guess is that it's pretty impossible to check that. So this is a user thing. You want an app to stay active in spite of having a power saver configured, then you need to tell the system of the exception. I bet that apps like Strava or Endomondo also get killed in your setup.
