meaning altitude correction rounding radius

He,
I am very satisfied user of oruxmaps but I have some doubts in correcting the altitude of the recorded track: in the choice of the rounding filter what do the numbers 1 2 4 8 16 mean? it is called a rounding radius, but of what?

Which is the best fix between these and choosing to use DEM files?

The app calculates a moving average. It is the number of points that are taken into account. The more points used, the more the curve smooths.
