Hello!

1.-below digital zoom < 40% the app may not be able to keep as many tiles in memory to paint the entire map. Why do you need to digital zoom at those levels? No top layers (which is desirable)?

2.- If you have problems starting the app, it is possible that there are errors in some maps, or directories with files that are not maps.

Settings-->Maps-->skip map check
In the offline maps list, refresh the list to see if there are wrong maps.

digital zoom solved everything. I was not aware of that zoom at all.
