Showing distaance indicators

I enjoy using Oruxmaps for several years, but nowaday I have an unexpected trouble with distance indicators.
In older updates (for ex. 8.5.5), distance indicators were shown automatically on a route when the option "draw distance indicators" was set on.
Today in the 9 version (9.6.3 and previous), the option seems not to be effective : distance indicators are never shown on the active route.
Is there some other option needing to be set on for displaying distance indicators ?
