You can configure it in visual elements >cursor>others.
Attached capture.
You can use the search magnifier in the global settings when you can't find the settings.👇

Hi tronpo,
as i told before - this is not working. Both answers is for the GPS receiver. I am talking about distance cycles for map measure . I will present 2 examples

Radius-ruler widget
http://osmand.net/docs/user/widgets/radius-ruler
Distance circles
https://docs.locusmap.app/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:maps_settings#distance_circles

the user can use this tool with GPS receiver OFF. It is a map tool

Hello, that I know of in Oruxmaps, there are only two kinds of distance indicator circles: the GPS cursor and the destination waypoint. Another tool to measure distances is the last point line also needs GPS. I think what you show with locus are also with GPS turned on. Without GPS you have the following measure tools (map tools) -Measure distances -measure multiple distances -measure with two fingers -topographic section Adding distance circles to the map center cursor would be a new tool, I like the idea.

From what I read in the two examples you give, both use GPS right?

In Locus they follow the GPS if it is active, if not they follow the map center.

Hi tronpo,

i had wrote to my post this "the user can use this tool with GPS receiver OFF. It is a map tool"

the only mistake i did is that oruxmaps doesn't support this tool. Ι didn't remember well. With your answer you confirmed it

Clarified the matter! Now it's time for orux to improve this point, don't you think? 😉

It's available now!! ! In the latest betas you can use the distance measuring circles in the center of the map.
Regardless of the rest of the distance circles.
