Dear Community,

I downloaded a map for Israel (https://www.openandromaps.org/en/downloads/asia-middle-east">https://www.openandromaps.org/en/downlo ... iddle-east">https://www.openandromaps.org/en/downloads/asia-middle-east) and there is written that it supports english language. Iam not exactly sure if I am understanding correctly.... My question is: Can I change the alphabet to Latin for this map? I cant read the hebrew or arabic alphabet...

I hope that it is possible.

Thanks in advance for any hints.

Kind regards,

Benjamin

Hi Benjamin.

1st: I assume you have installed and selected the Elevate Theme (Map Style) from https://www.openandromaps.org/en/legend/elevate-mountain-hike-theme">https://www.openandromaps.org/en/legend ... hike-theme">https://www.openandromaps.org/en/legend/elevate-mountain-hike-theme .

2nd: To change the language of a multilanguage (ML) map, go to "Maps"->"Map tweaks"->"Mapsforge map language".

Hi Matt,

thank you for your answer so far.

When I do your 2nd instruction it says that there are "no languages available!"

Do you have any other recommendations?

Edit: I Re-downloaded the map, this time installing it directly with oruxmaps and your instruction is working :- ). Thanks a lot!
