Hi everyone, I'm trying to do the following:

GPS module -> Bluetooth SPP -> oruxmaps external Bluetooth GPS

I can't figure out if the application is using the external GPS or not (it seems not).

If I use something like bluetooth GPS provider (with mock provider) like this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.mobilej.btgps">//https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.mobilej.btgps it works ok but if I set the external bluetooth GPS directly inside oruxmaps it seems that it is not used (it keeps using the internal one) unless I enable AIS.

Can you tell me how the application should work with an external bluetooth GPS and if it is possible to see which (internal or external) GPS is the app using?

Thankyou

Hello;

When you configure an external GPS, there is a new option under the Tracks menu to start the external BT GPS.

Or you can add a new button to the side buttons in global configuration--user interface--buttons--buttons bar.
