It is very sad that the SOS function will disappear.

I run and walk a lot alone and then the SOS function is reassuring for the home front.

In which version will this function disappear?

Is there an alternative?

In January the Google play policy changes; I will leave the feature until the end of December. I have not tried other apps that do that function.



I'll leave it in the free version; It is unfortunate that this happens, but Google does not leave many alternatives. The requirements that apply to use that permission are very complicated to comply with.

Orux, do you see any chance that the both versions will keep the same features? Instead of SOS, of course. Would it be possible to pay a Mapbox subscription in the free app version as well?

Switching between the two versions (depending if you are alone or in a group) is not what I would like to do...
