ERRORES/BUGS / show partner and pauses
July 10, 2016, 04:08:24 PM
Hi,

when racing against a previously recorded track using the "show partner" function, I noticed that pauses are handled inconsistently:

When there was a e.g., a 5-min pause on the recorded track, then the partner position remains at the same place for these 5min, while my current position continues to progress on the track.

However, when I make a pause, the partner does not continue forward, which would allow it to catch up, but on the contrary, the partner position moves backward while my current position remains unchanged. So even if I'm not faster underway, the partner lags behind after every pause.

Is this a bug, or is there some reason for doing it this way?

ERRORES/BUGS / Re: dim wake lock bug
May 12, 2015, 02:06:47 PM
Since I upgraded my Samsung S4 to Lollipop (5.0.1), I have the same problem: The display remains bright whenever I start oruxmaps and track logging. Oruxmaps (the current version 6.0.7) is configured to keep the screen always on, and display brightness is set to DIM WAKE LOCK.

To get it working, you can just tap Menu -> General Settings, and then go back with the back button. From then on the display will dim after an idle time. So you don't need to change anything, don't even need to go into the Applications submenu, just enter the General Settings menu and then back. But it needs to be done each time you start oruxmaps for track logging.

Is there any fix planned for this?

MEJORAS/NEW FEATURES / Time in dashboard and TC

Hi,

a small feature request: it would be nice if it would be possible to select the time (clock) for display in the dashboard and / or the trip computer fields.
