Orux, in the final 7.0.16 version I can't see the POI search thing, and I have the .poi file in the mapfiles folder? Should it have a special name to be detected? I'm using openandromaps so I believe it is mapsforge? Should I leave the poi file as a zip, currently i have it unzipped.

Orux, there is now a beta version of some "Maps" app for android wear which uses Mapbox's maps to get offline maps for Android Wear. Just an update, in case someone searches in the forum...



In the meantime also the official MiFit app (2.2.7) from the Google Playstore has the running mode (little runner icon in the upper left corner). No need to create the shortcut anymore.

So seems Sony Smartwatch 3 will receive Android Wear 2.0...Hopefully that update won't break orux's app since it is useful.



Orux after Wear 2.0 gets out will you iron the bugs out so we at least have the existing functionality as we do now?

Orux are there any improvements for android wear planned?

Does this latest beta bring any fixes for Android Wear - for example displaying WPs? Or ambient mode in stats display? Since these features doesn't work in earlier versions.

For me the bigger bug that map doesnt want to load on my  android wear watch, since previously it loaded fine.

Orux so now in beta5, xiaomi mi band heart rate sensor works.



Map on Android Wear doesn't work anymore? It doesn't load the map  . I don't know what is wrong...



There is still bug for duration of activity in statistics. I walked for example for 3 hours but it says something around 1400 .

I think he only means that with no internet you get no map  .



Btw orux made a new version (beta3) in which he said that he added ambient mode support in the "numbers" pages, also he added support for displaying waypoints....But I tried it and none of those features work, I get same features as in previous version + my heartrate sensor doesn't work in latest beta (miband 1s - it worked in beta1, in beta2 it didn't also).

In latest beta3, bluetooth heartrate doesn't work- I have a Xiaomi Miband 1S and in version 6.5.7beta1 it worked. (I did it like its described on the miband thread on your forum). I think I will revert to older beta version where this worked... This bug is also in beta2, while in beta1 it works....The problem is that it can find the miband but it can't select it. I press on it an it doesn't select. in the "heart rate monitor. Current value: - for 6.5.7beta1 it works, while for beta2 and beta3 these new versions it doesnt. Please please fix.

Ok so I installed this new beta (upgraded the old beta, and also tried with a clean install). Tried new android wear features but none of them works (sony smartwatch 3), do I need to restart my watch for them to start or something? It doesn't go to ambient mode nor does it display waypoints on map. What am I doing wrong? (old features from previous versions still work)

There is also a bug in the summary screen regarding "time of walking", I got like I was walking 1070 hours  . The distance, speed and altitude seem ok.



Regarding what I like - I like to have both drawer and older style layout together, it is great, also the new drawer design is cool and useful.

Also like that you added the option to add the heartrate button.



I also tried with a reinstall, but it also didn't work.



I must say that the hillshading stuff and map rendering stuff seems to work faster than in older versions, kudos orux.

Also how can I get back to version v.6.5.6 or to 6.5.7 since in some of those version I could use the heartrate sensor. I think in the latest stable version there is not even the button for heartrate sensor...strange...

About pixelation, I had to disable bitmap paint filtering. It is strange, but using that feature, it takes 10x times to paint the screen with a new Samsung s7 than with a Note 4 or older devices with the same display resolution. I need to do more tests.

With android wear and latest beta there is maybe a problem. The third screen "blinks" the text, its not shown constantly. First and second screens are ok.  I think maybe it blinked since i didn't have good enough satellite lock (was just showing position and altitude) and it didn't show bearing and speed.

That is true, would be better if there was a persistent notification on the watch-face while it was tracking or following a route. Good idea Tobsn I forgot you already mentioned that . But now for me for example its also quite easy. I have "Wear Mini Launcher" installed and have Oruxmaps Beta as Favourite app, so I just swipe from top left of the watch and i get into the launcher and there I tap on the oruxmaps icon which I have always on the top. So I can quickly get into the app, and then out of it to conserve battery.
