Current version 7.4.23 on Android 7

I had my maps on SD CARD in the following folder com.orux.oruxmaps/files/mapfiles but it looks like my card has become corrupted.

I have put in a new SD card but when navigating to the SD card I get a message :
The contents of this folder will no longer be accessible due to restrictions introduced in Android R. Remove your personal files from this folder as soon as possible

The oruxmaps folder on the SD Card cannot be seen if I connect my phone to my PC

Should I be using another folder now?

Thanks

GENERAL / oruxmapstracks.db file date
August 01, 2019, 12:06:00 PM
Hi.

I try to remember to backup the tracks db files after I have recorded some new data.

I have noticed that the file date of the main .db  file(as reported by windows date modified) is several months old even though I added new tracks last week.

Does that sound correct? I can view the new tracks no problem.

I am using version 7.2.12

Thanks

Many thanks marcuss1

Have had a read of that and will give it a go ASAP.

Quote from: "marcuss1"There is a workaround for this which I was able to get working pretty easily - see

MAPAS/MAPS / MOBAC 1.8 and OS mapping
May 18, 2015, 12:11:38 PM
I have been successfully using Mobile atlas creator 1.8 to create UK ordnance survey maps for Oruxmaps.

However, having just tried to create a new map, it no longer appears to be working. The map is created, but oruxmaps shows what looks like a standard google map.

Previously created OS maps all work fine.

Anyone else had this problem?

Thanks
