yes, I have. those were regular tracks, biking and hiking, all kilometers/hours long. tracks are saved in database, but exported gpx is not formed. it is difficult to give more info, due to the fact that sometimes gpx is made, sometimes not, with settings unchanged. really strange.

Hello Oruxmaps forum

I have the following questions.

1) I load an existing bike route in to my Oruxmap App, GPX format. The route is quite long and I would like to split the route into various sections. I could not find the tools to do that.

Hello!! To deviate a route the easiest thing to do is to use the track editor
You can create segments, marking the points where you want to split the path.
Then you can export each segment separately.
To create a step-by-step path, for example.

For the second part of your query, you can also use the editor depending on the complexity of the detour you want to make, and how much of the route you want to keep

Hello everyone, I'm encountering a technical issue with the interface and I could use some help. No matter what I do or which settings I change in the interface, I can't seem to make the route transparent; it always remains opaque. This wasn't an issue before and I'm unsure what to do now. Can anyone assist? See the attached screenshot for more details.

Hello!!  The line niea route when solid (solid line) has color (path color) and background color
If you give transparency to the path color, see a line with the background color.

If you use a non-solid path line (the one with arrows) it has no background color, so the transparency of the path color will not have any color underneath.
I don't know what your intention is for transparency, but the app gives options to hide a route from view and still enjoy all the other options of a visible route, data, voice prompts etc.
Hide track/route .

Is anyone else having a problem with 'Export track after finished' ? ... I have 'gpx' set, but suddenly the app doesn't make the file after the track is finished anymore. the function worked fine until recently, now I have to do it manually for each track, which works the way it should. to make the matter even weirder, this doesn't always happen - sometimes the app also makes a gpx file. annoying.
