Thank you - I tried it with v.11.0.0beta10 of OruxMaps now, there it works with renaming the profile filenames. I appreciate to have the choice to use these different profiles. However, maybe @orux nevertheless could also integrate a "bicycle trekking" profile to his "OruxMaps profiles" that are pre-configured, so that "newbies" / people who don't want to change anything in configuration also directly can choose a trekking profile for cycling.

Two remarks:

• In beta 10 the profiles in the route planner are sorted in a bit special way - first capital letters then small letters (e.g. Auto - Fahrrad - Zug - kürzester Weg)
• after you renamed (or deleted) profiles you should only update your routing data with Oruxmaps and not with brouter as brouter downloads its default profiles with every update and you'll have them in your list again.

Hello, I think our friend Sandy uses GP version 10.7.4, so he still can't customize the name of the profiles with impact on the OruxMaps planner listing.

Just de-selecting "Use OruxMaps profiles for Brouter" brings back the old selections like "Bicycling / shortest", and if you activate "Show all Brouter profiles" instead, you get a much bigger list for selection, similar to what you can choose on brouter-web or bikerouter.de. Only tiny drawback in this case is that this list always is in English language, whereas selecting none of these checkboxes or OruxMaps profiles shows the options in your local language (the language you selected in OruxMaps configuration).

In OruxMaps v.7.4.28 (and older) there was the option "bicycle / shortest", which used a profile for TREKKING bicycles in BRouter.

Now in the recent OruxMaps versions I just have the choice between racing bicycle and mountainbike. How can I use the old TREKKING bicycle profile for route calculation in BRouter again?

Could you include this as option to select in OruxMaps as well please? Many families with children, people cycling in cities and also older people use TREKKING bicycles, I would bet in total these are way more than racing bicycles and mountainbike users.

Hello, go to global configuration > tracks, you will find a box that says use OruxMaps profiles in brouter, uncheck that box, in this way the planner profiles will be the ones you already know from the versions you have said

ERRORES/BUGS / Top dashboard issue

The top dashboard in the latest versions does not fit to the top of the screen + there is a gap between the controls. Tested on different smartphones.

On my old smartphone with version 7.4.26 it does fit perfectly and there is no gap between the fields either.

Hi Trompo, yes I'm having the small arrows always visible (and colors) but still it's confusing during a ride when they overlap/intersect each-other. A thicker line or bigger arrows in that intersections would really help during a ride, when you are checking the road and screen map at the same time.

But in any case, I would recommend adding the option to trigger the alarm if a route is not strictly followed due to an incorrect overlapping turn.

I found it on the external SD card, not on the internal 

I also found another posilblity to export and import my profile (to export the standard profile you need to duplicate it at first)
