Hello,
I bought oruxmaps on Google play and used it without an Oruxmaps account.
Later, I created an account on SICAMI with an email not related to a Google account.


Now I see that I can't connect to SICAMI from Oruxmaps because it seems to require a Google account.

Is there any other way to tell Oruxmaps what the SICAMI connection email account is?

I have a Samsung with 2 account e-email in Gmail App e 2 account e-mail in Samsung Email App. I can create orux account with all 4 accounts.

Your case is interesting, but it's not my situation.


The email account I use as my Sicami login is not a Google or Samsung account, but an email account for my domain name.


If I want to add an email account in my phone's settings, it only lets me create Google accounts. So I can't connect to Sicami.


I'd have to create a new Sicami account with a Google email. And I wouldn't want that.
Is there any way I can tell Oruxmaps that my Sicami account login email isn't from Google, or even Samsung ?

In Oruxmaps, in the "Oruxmaps/Sicami connection" dialog screen, the "email" button should allow you to enter an email instead of redirecting you to the selection of an existing account in the phone.

With all accounts I can create orux account.

Yes, this shows that the Oruxmaps application should allow you to create a new account instead of having to choose one of the existing ones.

This is possible with Google, Samsung, DAV5x, Facebook, OneDrive, Microsoft365, and many other applications.

I don't know if you solved this, but it should be possible for you to add email accounts to your android even if they are not gmail, and then use them with Oruxmaps.

No se si solucionaste esto, pero debes de ser posible para ti agregar cuentas de correo a tu android aunque no sean gmail, y luego utilizarlas con Oruxmaps.

Why to delete instead of distinguishing the two activities "electric road bike" "electric mountain bike"?
The nature of the terrain on these routes is very different.


It's the same thing, in french, there are  two occurrences of  the same word "Randonnée", but in spanish "senderismo" and "senderismo trekking" .  And in english, "Train" and "Trekking".

No se si solucionaste esto, pero debes de ser posible para ti agregar cuentas de correo a tu android aunque no sean gmail, y luego utilizarlas con Oruxmaps.

El problema no está en añadir una cuenta que no sea de correo electrónico gmail, sino en añadir una cuenta de correo electrónico que no esté vinculada a una cuenta de Google.

En mi teléfono Android, no se puede crear una cuenta sin antes elegir con qué aplicación se va a utilizar. Algunas aplicaciones permiten crear una nueva cuenta, por ejemplo Goole, Samsung, Microsoft 365, Facebook, LDAP, Meet... pero Oruxmaps no.

The problem isn't with adding a non-gmail account, but with adding an email account that isn't linked to a Google account.

On my Android phone, you can't create an account without first choosing which application it will be used with. Some applications allow you to create a new account, e.g. Goole, Samsung, Microsoft 365, Facebook, LDAP, Meet ... but Oruxmaps does not.

Ideally, the activities coincide with those that Oruxmaps has. We will propose to Oruxmpas that there are two types of electric bicycle.
