Hello everyone,

I've got a little issue. I'd like to open raster presenting old aerial photograph. Unfortunately, orux doesn't read raw geotiff, jpg/png with XML coordinates or geospatial pdf.

Anyone is able to solve above mentioned problem? :) I found only tips about downloading OSM maps and preparing them for orux format (in OkMap, TopoMapCreator), but I'm not interested in it. Only the raster maps, existing on my computer are my interests object.

Have a nice afternoon,

Try Tilemill,  maybe with QGIS for pre-processing if needed.

for relative small maps you can try google earth for georeferencing. http://www.library.carleton.ca/help/georeferencing-and-digitizing-scanned-maps-or-aerial-images-google-earth">http://www.library.carleton.ca/help/geo ... ogle-earth">http://www.library.carleton.ca/help/georeferencing-and-digitizing-scanned-maps-or-aerial-images-google-earth

for real big maps I use globalmapper.

then I use mobac.
