I'm on EMUI 12 (propably Android 10).
The interface is not the same but I have the same function. I already have removed Oruxmaps from Energy Saving.



The issue is still there.

I'm very disappointed. Do you have any other idea?

I'll try to use another software (like Oruxmaps) for my track recording to see if the problem will be still there...

with my huawei worked.....    But it was two phones ago.. it was P8 lite

last try...   check if FUSED LOCATION PROVIDER is on
you find it in menu - sensor - gps

As you can see the option is greyed. Is it ok?

no. it's not....

it should be not greyed. it should be clickable

anyway...  be advised that most of the time the app stops recording the track if the app is not in the foreground.

if You put it in the background, still running but in the background, (as when you tap the home button for instance) the track will most likely stop recording.

I found a new app called "Geo Tracker" (https://m.apkpure.com/geo-tracker-gps-tracker/com.ilyabogdanovich.geotracker).
It's not so powerful than Oruxmaps but I'll try to use it and see what happens...
