Viewing 2 maps, one over another, at same time (overlay)

Hi. Is there a way to load two different maps at same time?
For example, I open some offline map, and then open or load another map (layer) over that map. And then, I can see what is under that map...
I add gif how would it look like ( map overlay created by OsmAnd android app)

Hi,

something similar can be achieved using composite maps, however, in oruxmaps there is no way to adjust the transparency at 'runtime' as showed in your gif, it should be done beforehand during the map creation process.

To create a composite map goto 'Map - Switch map' then hit the + button at the top.
