Hi friends.
Firstly thanks for your big work.

I am trying to connect my Oruxmaps to a wifi NMEA nautical dispositive.
I can connect my tablet to the NMEA dispositive and read the position. I can use Navionics App with this position perfectly.
I use 192.168.1.1 local IP and port 2000

But, I can`t read the NMEA information from Oruxmaps.
Do you know what I have to write in the parameter "AIS IP direction" in Oruxmaps?

You have to, in settings-->sensors-->AIS
--enable AIS (in order to see the option to start/stop the sensor in the menus)--select 'IP' origin--enter the IP and the port where the app will find the server. For example 192.168.1.0:6492

Then in the map viewer, start the AIS sensor.

Good night Orux.
Thank you for the help.
I think I can connect Oruxmaps to NMEA because I can see the green led in the wifi device if I set on the AIS sensor. It seems OK.
But, I don`t see the cursor on the mapviewer.
It seems Oruxmaps don't read the position on the NMEA sentences.

How can I know if Oruxmaps reads the position correctly apart of the cursor?
Any idea what problem can I have?

Thanks.

Contact with me, with a PM, I can try to build a test version to see what the device sends to the app.
