Of the US National Park Service geopdfs, some work in Orux and some don't. One example that's too far south is

Another larger scale that is off is

Hello;

the first one is working right in my phones (if you have problems with it, clean vectorial cache in settings-->maps-->vectorial cache, then refresh the offline map list).

the second one is not right, but I think it is not an OruxMaps problem; if you open it with another app, you will see the same error. I think it is wrong calibrated; see attached, the same coordinates will show the same point in both apps:

I don't see vectorial under maps to clear cache. I cleared everything that I could find, downloaded the file again and still the same problem. The track of the hike in the park is about 10 miles north of the map displayed in Oruxmaps.

If you mean "Reset raster cache" I did that. I then used your distance measuring tool and the start point of the hike, the Visitor Center, is 13 miles south on the map of the GPS point.

Hello!

The map: http://www.nps.gov/hfc/carto/PDF/PRWImap1.pdf">http://www.nps.gov/hfc/carto/PDF/PRWImap1.pdf is working fine in my devices. If I load a route, it matches perfectly with the path.

Try this: rename the map (keep the extension .pdf) and refresh the map list. Then load it again,

No, still the same problem after the rename. Moving to the same center point that you are showing on your map that is at 38.5749 Lat is at 38.3874 when display on mine. It is straight south though, the Longitude is the same. Your map is fine. I have an older version that I converted from the PDF to a png and georeference in OkMap and made an Oruxmap. It works fine, but I was excited about the new support of the geopdfs now and downloaded all the maps from the NPS site. Most work fine like the Shenandoah and the Manassas, but I was wanting to show the rangers in Prince William Forest Park how it works for them and it was broken. Exactly the same problem here on two different phones.

I'm really intrigued with this problem. Can you share your map with me (the file you are using, not a link to the download website), to see if it is a different version/format?

Sorry, maybe I was testing different versions;

Could you test the last beta version?

The Beta fixes the problem! Thanks.

And 7.3.0 has this fix so I removed the Beta, but when the 7.3.1 was auto installed I tried to open the Prince William Forest Park geopdf map when we started our hike, and BOOM!, Oruxmaps crashed. I responded to the crash by uploading the data so you should be able to access the details.

I also tried the 7.3.2beta3 and it also crashes when trying to open the PWF geopdf

There is also a problem with the zoom levels when switching maps. I have a track on the screen and when switching maps want to see the same view, but it is jumping about two levels, even though the zoom levels that the app is displaying, say level 15, is still being reported, but it is only right for the vmaps. I think that this used to work as expected.

I just tried two other geopdf and they both crashed Orux when trying open them too, so issue doesn't seem to be the PWF map itself.

Hello;

But you can open it again, or you can not open it anymore?

I can restart Oruxmaps, but when opening any of the geopdfs that I have tried, it crashes again. Orux opens displaying the previous successful map displayed, but not any geopdfs now.

Now the app is using android pdf libraries, instead of external libraries; in this way, I can save a lot of memory, and the apk is smaller; your device and android version?

It is strange but seems that the android pdf implementation is worse, or not complete.
