Orux,

I have Tablet without Barometer sensor and Barometer for elevation is normally disabled - dark letter. Also Menu under it Altitude from DEM is disabled - dark letter. All this is under Sensor - GPS Menu. At User interface - Dashboard - User interface - Viewer mode menu Altitude from DEM - bright letter - it can be checked and is visible on Display. Phone Samsung without Barometer sensor has the same simptoms.

Regards.

HI Orux,

since the last few betas I'm experiencing a bug in the tc1 view, if I change the second (big) field this happens:

http://i61.tinypic.com/2n68ydd.png">

The 2nd field is the one I wanted to change and the 4th field is the new one

If I press back and then go to tc1 again, everything is back to normal.

Hi,

The download tables on openandromaps are now ready for the direct install of maps into Orux.

just klick on the "+" sign left of the mapname and choose >install on Orux.

There were some problems in the beginning - these issues should be resolved now.

The resizing of the downloadtables in responsive view is improved too and should work flawless now.

@Orux:

1. What I'v seen is that after download an installing the map+themes Oruxmaps switches back to osmarender theme (maybe this happens only on my virtual tablett..).

Would it be possible that it switches back to the theme previously used?

2. Is it possible to indicate the status of the download and unziping in Oruxmaps - it takes lots of time to download and uncompress the maps. Maybe user think that the App has crashed without a progress bar (atleast while unzipping).

1.-That should not happen. I think it is working fine in my device. In the last versions, if you open 'tweaks'--'mapsforge style', and you leave without selecting a new theme, the app returns to osmarender default theme. May be you did that?

2.-I have added an indeterminate progress bar with a text about 'unzipping, wait,..', because I have information about download progress, but I haven't about unzipping progress.

I returned to the mapsforge library 0.4.3, I think it is better to work with this version, which is working well.

Maybe it's time to revisit 0.5, a RC1 has just been released:

https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/mapsforge-dev/KKqgIAmmKmo">//https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/mapsforge-dev/KKqgIAmmKmo

It should be faster in rendering, and it also adds some valuable enhancements to the themes:

As the themes have to be adjusted for the new Oruxmaps anyway, it would be nice to add for example priorities for symbols/captions while I'm at it :-)

Best regards,

Tobias

Hi, Tobias;

I think it is better to release now with version 0.4.3. I hope that the current version of OruxMaps will be ready in one week.

Anyway, I think the change to 0.5. will be faster.

Today I ordered a wahoo sc sensor at Amazon.

I'm curious if it works.

I will report....

BTW:Which smart watch is supported? Pebble?

And I got a Garmin Cadence Sensor (without magnet) which doesn't show proper values on Oruxmaps. IpSensor Man shows values correct. Might it be an Oruxmaps problem?

Hi, Uli;

is it an ANT+ or BT device?

Could you add a link to the specs of that device?

Yes,  that's it. It is strange - even in the little manual there is no device name. Oruxmaps shows 0.0 rpm and now and then a number like 22060... so the device is recognized
