I think that is wanted. I see:

1.Properties

2.Continue Track

3.Follow/see route

4.Load as Map overlay





Upload to... is inside properties, left side of the wastebox.

Waypoints in the GPX exported by Oruxmaps include the "desc" field even when it is empty. When importing it to OSM with the Potlatch 2 editor, it created empty "desc" tags.

Empty tags, such as "desc", are a problem for OSM data, as all tags are expected to have a non-empty value.

Would it be possible to avoid adding empty "desc" entries to the GPS waypoints?

I see 2 Description fields inside the GPX Files.

The first one is empty,

the second contains all the statistics.



If i load that track in "MyTourBook", i see that statistic texts inside the Tourbook.

I have to delete that text than.

"MyTourBook" has its own Statistics.



A Option "no desc. inside gpx" would be good.

I now got Android 7.1.1 on my nexus and tried the beta19 again,

since I've seen many people having bluetooth issues in Nougat.

I tried beta 20 with Android 7.1.1 Nexus 5x.



No crashed when switching bluetooth mode, actually no crashes at all.

BTW what is the magnifying glass thing, and how can I get rid of it? ( I assume it is the data usage? )

but I haven'T figured out what is going on.

For me, raster offline maps are still shifted. Re-installing Beta 20 does not help.

The same offline maps are fine with 6.5.10, but Beta20 has a ~ 2.0-2.5 Km shift to the South-West (~ 210 degrees).

The shift distance is different in different places. May be it is a projection issue!?



The maps were created from online map tiles with MOBAC. The online map "Israel Hiking map" is also OK.

Pues yo lo creé y lo usé con la Beta 20 y es cuando tuve el problema :-( Lo creé sobre el mapa Google Hybrid.

Yo también y me funciona bien y lo único qué cambié fue actualizar la beta y crear el mapa desde ella también desde Google Hybrid.

Hello orux,

on my Samsung Note 3, Android 4.4.2 I have been working with OruxMaps (Playstore version 6.5.9 and several 6.5.Xbeta versions) for some time. Everything workes fine with the normal version 6.5.9.



I have also been quite satified with several beta versions, but beginning with 6.5.11.beta17 I noticed dislocation effects (by 300 to 600 m in various directions) with raster offline maps that I generated with Mobac as OruxMaps Sqlite (OruxMapsImages.db and <mapname>.otrk2.xml).

Some (but not all) of these maps I had to recalibrate and generate a new otrk2-file with OruxMapsDesktop 2.1.0beta to datum/projection different from WGS84/Mercator.



All vector maps (openandromaps, freizeitkarte) of type <mapname>.map are fine.



Unfortunately I did not save beta versions older than 6.5.11.beta17, so I cannot pin down the problem to a specific version change. The effect persists also with the latest 6.5.11.beta20. The shift for raster offline maps is noticed also by jaimecy and steed.

If I install the beta-version beside the donate one, it es impossible zu locate the maps on the ext. sd-card, where it is saved for the donate-version. So, it would be necessary to install the maps twice, I don't like. Problem of unrooted phone?
